Join Us for In-Person Meetups
Throughout the year, Elizabeth Doherty Thomas and select Master Practitioners host casual, in-person, local meetups across the country. These gatherings are a great opportunity to connect, ask questions, and build community—whether you're just curious, have purchased the course but haven’t started yet, or are fully certified in Discernment Counseling.
These informal events are typically held in hotel lobbies or similar spaces and run from 9–11 AM, making them easy to attend around your schedule. You're warmly welcome whether you're local, a short drive away, or already in the area for another reason.
Check out the upcoming events listed below and join us when we’re near you!
Upcoming Meetups
Friday, June 27th 9-11am
Elizabeth Doherty Thomas, Co-Founder, and Krista Sisterhen, a Master Practitioner, are in town for a meet and greet with DC owners. Whether you happen to be passing through that weekend, wish to make a trip of it, or live in the Indianapolis metro area, we'd love to have you spend the whole 2 hours with us or stop by for as long as you can. Meeting other Indy-area DC therapists is a great opportunity to connect and make cross-referrals or simply to "talk shop." PS: Elizabeth's daughter is attending IUI starting Fall 2025, so she is apt to be in town more often to support a local community that wishes to grow. Nobody should be doing this work alone, and this is a good jump start to meeting other like-minded trainees.
Saturday, June 28th 9-11am
Elizabeth Doherty Thomas, Co-Founder, is in town with local Master Practitioner Ginny Wright for a fun Saturday morning meet and greet with DC Owners. Ginny will bring coffee and bagels to hang out in this funky hotel lobby. We'd love to see you, help answer questions, give you a boost of confidence, network with your colleagues, and just get to know you better! Chicago has a fantastic group of discernment counselors with Ginny as a warm, humble, passionate leader who can really begin to create a real group in the Chicago area. Whether you're passing through, live here, or this is your excuse to come to Chicago, please come! Nobody should be doing this work alone, and this is a good jump start to meeting other like-minded trainees.
