A (FREE) 16-week Learn-Along Group for Discernment Counseling Trainees with Ginny Wright

If you are just starting (or restarting) the DC training course, join me for a 16-week group where we learn the new material together to solidify the essential skills and strategies of discernment counseling. At a shared pace, we will complete the training and then review critical highlights of the week's material. Our goal is to get it right from the beginning. Our group will be a place for (soft) accountability to stay on track and a no-pressure format to ask questions, use hands-on learning techniques, and learn from one of the DC Master Practitioners.

Learn Along Wednesdays with Krista

It's so exciting to engage with the revised Discernment Counseling course! Whether it's your first time through the content or if this is a refresher, I hope you'll consider joining me for a weekly small group to process what you're learning and connect with others on the journey.

We'll meet via video on Wednesdays from 2:00-2:45 Eastern with the group setting the agenda each week.

This small group is open to anyone taking the course and registration is $25 per month.

DC Watch Party with Lyn Martin

The new Discernment Counseling training is out, and I know many of us are eager to dig into the fresh demos and updated material. So, I'm turning it into a bit of an event: DC Watch Parties where we'll "screen" Bill Doherty's recorded sessions like a movie, then hit pause to reflect on what's happening clinically-the choices he makes, the pivots, and the stuck spots we all recognize.

Think of it as a way to keep up with the new material and learn together-whether you're brand new to DC or have been navigating mixed-agenda couples for years. Popcorn optional, curiosity required.

From Start to Finish: A Discernment Counseling Learn-Along Group with Courtney

How many trainings have you been genuinely excited to start… only to have life get in the way? The time you were going to spend diving in gets hijacked by work, family, or just the endless to-do list. Before you know it, the momentum's gone and you're left with a half-finished course.

If that sounds familiar, I've got something that can help.

I'm leading "From Start to Finish: A Discernment Counseling Learn-Along Group" for clinicians tackling the revamped Discernment Counseling training. Whether you're brand new to the model or a seasoned discernment counselor, this group gives you the structure and support to get to the finish.

Think of it like a personal trainer for your clinical development.

Every 3 weeks, we'll meet in a small, supportive live virtual group where we:

  • Hold each other accountable for completing the course that has been broken down into manageable chunks.
  • Talk through what's landing, what's not, and how it's showing up in your work
  • Get honest about what's clicking, what's confusing, and where we fall into "therapist mode" instead of discernment counselor mode

We start Friday, Sept 5 and meet every 3 weeks for 7 sessions. Spots are limited so the group stays intimate.

Let's do more than start this training. Let's finish it together and that begins here

A Race to the Finish - For Those Who Dive Right In & Finish Fast! with Ginny Wright

You know who you are … you'd rather dive right in and finish the training like you're cramming for an exam. (Maybe you've been called an overachiever in the past??) If you think you'll jump right in and complete the training pretty quickly, consider signing up for a two-session group. We will assume you've completed the training, and we will use an extended group time (1.5 hours) to discuss reflections, provide clarification, and use hands-on learning exercises to demonstrate what we've learned.

We will meet on Thursday mornings, 10 - 11:30 am CT.

Two groups are currently planned (Sept 4 & 18 and Oct 2 & 16).
